Formula 1 in Suzuka

Watching Formula 1 in Suzuka is one of big opportunities in my life. I have been interested in Formula 1 races, but I hadn't gotten a chance to watch them at any venues before. Luckily, I got a chance to watch them at Suzuka Circuit. This year might be the last Fomura 1 at Suzuka. And my friend offered to go to watch the races together. There was no reason to hesitate to go!

Suzuka city in Mie prefecture is a quiet and beautiful town surrounded by greenery. First, I was surprised huge human traffic jam around the entrance gate. Actually, that day was not the race day but the qualifying day. In some extreme cases, It would take you a couple of minutes for taking a step forward. I was tired from walking but, seeing many enthusiastic people in the audience and listening to the gorgeous engine sound of racing cars made me uplifting. My favorite driver Jenson (he has the same birthday as me) finished in 7th place at the qualifying and the following day, he finished in 4th place at the race.

This venue has 20th anniversary and might be the last venue as Formula 1 Japan Grand Prix this year, 2006. Anyway, this race in Suzuka must be a important milestone as Japanese Formula 1 history. The race got started under the fine clear sky and surrounded by the most people - 160 thousand people in the audience over the past 20 years. I was fascinated by dramatic Formula 1 races and great techniques of driving. And the more I know about Formura 1 by magazines and websites, the more fascinated I am. I'm a big fan of Formura 1 after that race!
