Rainy Season

It seems we're in beginning of rainy season now. In this season I spend time at home or my library to read some books. I don't feel bored but rather I feel I have plenty of time to relax and think about plans for Summer and Autumn.

I watched the Canadian GP last Sunday on TV. It was a survival race. Only 12 of 22 cars were able to complete the race. The safety car came in to the track for the first time in this season because of the accident. Surprisingly enough, The car was in the track four times throughout the race. Consecutive winner Alonso cost extra time and lost his position due to the notorious safety car rule. At the same time, Kovalainen and Wurz were likely helped by that rule. I think nobody could read the progress of the race. Sato overtook Alonso beautifully in his last stint. Alonso was suffering from mechanical problem of TC in his last stint. But I felt Super Aguri's amazing progress, potential and of course his bravery too. I was moved to tears!

On the 27th lap, there was horrible accident. Kubica crashed into the wall and rolled down to another wall. The speed was about 170km/h when he crushed. Everybody got shocked and anxious about his life. It was as devastating as that. I am glad to hear he is totally all right other than his slight trauma and concussion.
