Fuji F1 Japanese GP Friday

It's my second time to go watch the F1 Japanese GP. This season the grand prix is held at Fuji Speed Way. It's been 30 years since the last grand prix at the venue. I heard that they did a major renovation for it and everything would look new.

After 30 minutes train ride and 45 minutes bus ride, I arrived to the venue. As soon as I got off the bus, I heard the characteristic -F1 engine sound. I realised all F1 drivers were working here and got excited. There is quite a difference between watching races on TV and watching it in person at a circuit. Today I walked around the circuit and watch the team boothes. In the first and second practice sessions, I took many pictures of the F1 cars. I really enjoyed watching the F1 driving. Tomorrow, I will go again and watch the third practice and qualifying and my friend is going to join me. Oh, It's time to go to bed. I have to wake up early in the morning!

MOTORSPORT JAPAN 2007 Festival in Odaiba

Hooray! I've waited for this moment! Today was a sort of lucky day. To be exact, I was unlucky at first. I couldn't get a ticket for special seats area which was applied for only 300 people. And weather was getting worse and it begun to rain. I was forced to see the entertainments from the people-jam. It was quite hard to see. But at a certain moment, right before the F1 demonstration people who were anterior to me were gone and the rain stopped. So, I was able to get a nice place to see the entertainments. At the end of the day, I had a fantastic day!

F1 world in 2007

Long-awaited F1 Japanese GP is coming in two weeks in Fuji. Today I went to Shibuya to see a F1 event of Toyota. They hosted a talk show and tyre exchange demonstration. I enjoyed seeing displayed F1 cars and pit tools. Next weekend there is Motor Sport Japan 2007 in Odaiba. I feel it's a sort of Japanese GP's eve.

Think of this season, it's been an eventful season to look back on. Hamilton made a meteoric rise from obscurity. Kubica's hairbreadth escape from the accident like magician's act. Impressively Takuma overtook Alonso, consecutive world champion at Canadian GP. Incomprehensible Stepney-Gate. I think upmost victim is Ron family. I was encouraged by Ron's words after he was found guilty and got stiff penalty 'It doesn't matter how beaten up I am, I still love Formula 1'.

Aquileja Op85 by Sibelius

I recorded my piano performance. The piece is Aquileja Op85 by Sibelius. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of him. I think it's a good chance to rediscover his buried pieces. I told about beauty of this piece before. I will be happy if you listen to this piece.

Auguries of Japanese GP

My friend found this on the way to work. It clearly reminds me of Formula 1 Japanese GP is getting closer. In three week, I'm watching the practice, the qualifying and the race with Kangaroo TV at Fuji Speed Way. I've already prepared the ticket, and camera! Oh, I also have to get my favorite team's gears! I'm sure I can find some nice gears at the team booth in the venue. I'm getting more excited! Take it easy!
